Starting the 30-Day Muscle-Up Challenge
Brendan McLelland11 February 2026

Day 1 of my journey to master the muscle-up. Here's my starting point and the plan I'll be following.
Today marks the beginning of my 30-day muscle-up challenge. I can currently do 10 pull-ups and 15 dips, but I've never been able to complete a full muscle-up.
My plan for the next 30 days:
1. Days 1-10: Build explosive pulling power with high pulls
2. Days 11-20: Work on the transition phase with band assistance
3. Days 21-30: Attempt full muscle-ups with decreasing assistance
I'll be documenting every session, sharing my struggles, and hopefully celebrating that first clean rep. Let's see what consistent daily effort can achieve.
